9:00 AM -Jeff Ho: Leave Tabuchis Drive equipment van to airport

-Mary & Bonnie - Begin ticket and Visa processing - VARIG Counter VARIG #8837

-Paul & Kenny - Document (photo and video) the process - the steps listed below

-Lisa and Valerie - Be prepared to receive members. Register your valuables

-Garrett & Darren Process your own luggage before the others arrive.

-Nathan, Dave, & Satoshi: Have Garrett and Darren process your personal luggage and carry-on. Bring equipment and take to customs window. Obtain a copy of equipment from Mary. (She will take a list to customs window the day before Brazil Air received a copy of list one month prior)

-Emily/Jeremy Process your own luggage before the others arrive.

All members - Arrive PROMPTLY to Los Angeles Airport (LAX) Departure Bradley International Terminal Varig Airline Counter

STEP 1: CHECK IN WITH LISA NEAR FRONT ENTRANCE OF TERMINAL VARIG AISLE
Lisa: Use your diary list of members; Fifi and Nicole - left before therefore there are 36 folks in group (Fifi and Nicole make 38)

Lisa:
1. TELL THOSE UNDER 12 TO GIVE $ AND MEDICATION TO LEADER
2. Remind them not to leave luggage or carry-on unattended!!!
3. Tell them to go check with Valerie
11:30 AM: Lisa: Inform Mary of the missing folks! (probably at ticket counter)

STEP 2: CHECK IN WITH VAL: (near scanning area)
Val: Make sure everyone has an ID Tag (will give you extras) on luggage and carry-on bag. (make sure the carry-on is not another suitcase) NO yarn because we do not want to attract attention at Brazil customs.

STEP 3: SCAN LUGGAGE - Garrett: (at front end of scanning area) Assist members place luggage and carry-on through the "scanner."

STEP 4: LINE-UP LUGGAGE - Satoshi & Darren (as the luggage comes out of scanner) Assist members - place in front of counter with our group's luggage (line up in a row)

STEP 5: - CUSTOMS - Emily: (be near our luggage line and explain) Instruct members about registering any cameras (over $200) and equipment (over $200) at "customs." Do not bother with valuables less than $200.
Jeremy: (walk folks to customs window. When they finish, send back to the gathering area)

STEP 6-Jaime/Lisa: Everyone in their 10 groups. Keep everyone in the immediate area (do not go into shops) Ask leaders to make sure "air sick" folks take their RX or ginger now.)

12:00 PM Val: Inform pastors that we would like to pray at 12:10AM (Steve, Revs. Mizoguchi/Chuman, Wong)
12:10 PM Group prayer

STEP 7- Mary/Bonnie: Distribute Boarding Passes to Leaders to "Hold"
12:40 PM Everyone - Start walking toward Gate

STEP 8- Group Leaders: Distribute Boarding Passes at the gate. Enter the plane in your groups.

1:00-1:30 PM Board Airplane (sit in your groups) - You may change seats after the meal, but return to your own seat before we land. Please display your best behavior. Do not disturb other passengers.

Leave LAX (approx 10 hour flight) - Stay in seats, belted!!!! - Turbulence!

Mary/Bonnie - Arrange passports in Group order for immigration.
